60 things that will save your butt at your next trade show or event

by Traci Browne

Have you ever been in the situation where you needed to fix something five minutes before the show opens and oh, if only you had some tape?  Or there is a screw loose (I’m talking about the real ones here) and you are trying to fix it with a dime?  How about one of your booth reps comes in with half their cat on their jacket?

Below is a comprehensive list of things you should pack in your tool kit and take to every show.  But here is the catch to make this useful.  When the kit comes back you must re-stock it immediately.  Also good to check it before it leaves to make sure everything is in there.

What’s missing?  Add your must have items in the comments below.  Would you rather download the list instead of read it in our fancy schmancy online mag?…here it is Packing Your Gang Box

Note: Fancy schmancy magazine was not popular so we stopped using it…thus blank box below…

Velcro, 100 mile an hour tape (duct Tape), Windex, lint free towels, extra batterys, extra microphone, small vaccum cleaner, and last but not least a written back up plan.

Ok folks, these are suggestions from the US Air Force so you definitely want to add them to the list! Aside from the boy scouts I doubt anyone could be better prepared (Army…Navy…want to weigh in???)

Yes, I do still like to have my binder on hand. I know everything is available on-line now but call me old-fashioned…I love me my show binder.
