Conference Planning and Production

We’ve met many bloggers who are experts in their fields.  Many are entrepreneurs who have developed a large following and a strong network of like-minded individuals.  They often speak at industry conferences either for free or small fees.  Soon the idea starts to form about doing their own conference.

Whether you are thinking about planning a small meeting with under 300 attendees or thousands there are most likely many details that go into an event that you are not aware of.  Perhaps you want to bring in other industry experts for a one, two or three day conference.  How do you manage all the up-front expenses, market to potential attendees, handle registration and find appropriate sponsors?
